Additional Classes
Beginning Tuesday September 16, 2008 we will be running an extra kids program at the Victoria Road Recreation Centre. We will also be offering a women's only session there in the Fall on Tuesday nights. Please let Sensei Sandy know if anyone is interested in participating and/or assisting. More info to follow.

Co-ed classes continue to run this month. Note the dates on the schedule.
Both Monday and Thursday Bushido classes will take place at the dojo. Ladies Monday classes continue at the church except for on stat holidays.

Congratulations go out to Janice and Sandra for earning their assistant instructor crests. Thanks ladies for all your help with the kids classes and self defence seminars!!

Grading
The next ladies grading is scheduled for Monday September 8, 2008. Those not testing are welcome to attend at this time to lend support to their fellow students. Grading forms will be available later this month.

Congratulations to the students who graded on June 16th. Cassandra earned her orange belt, Stephanie earned her purple belt and Alison earned her blue belt. Good job ladies!
Congratulations also to the students who tested at the black belt grading on June 13th and 14th. Johanna graded to green/black belt, and Alissa and Janice earned their brown belts. These students did a great job of displaying their spirit, skill and enthusiasm as they tested in a new environment with students from our companion club, Bushido Martial Arts in Fergus.

Little Okinawa Camp, North Carolina
This year's camp hosted by Kyoshi Doug Perry, President,
North American Shorinkan, will take place from August 20-24, 2008.
