Shorin-Ryu Karate is the original karate system, tracing its lineage to Shaolin Temple in China.  It is from Shorin-Ryu that all other styles originated.

Hanshi Shugoro Nakazato
One of the most influential karate masters of our time.  On Chibana's death became the president of the Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate-do Kyokai. Promoted his son Minoru Nakazato to this role 2013

Hanshi Minoru Nakazato
President of the worldwide Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate-do Kyokai.  Son of Shugoro Nakazato. Resides in Okinawa, the birthplace of karate

Kyoshi Pat Haley

8th Dan. A direct student of Hanshi Shugoro Nakazato.  Trained regularly with Hanshi Nakazato and now his son Minoru Nakazato in Naha, Okinawa. Resides in Chico, California
